Storm Coverage
JANUARY 2024:
It's been a fast paced few days for BBC Radio Scotland news programmes, providing the latest information on the weather situation and covering the fallout from Storms Isha and Jocelyn. There's been significant disruption and damage to property across the country. I was in Baillieston where the roofs from neighbouring garages blew into a garden and wind destroyed a wooden conservatory. I reported live from outside Glasgow Central train station, hours before ScotRail services were suspended for more than twelve hours because of safety concerns.

World Premiere of The Rig
DECEMBER 2022:
Delighted to attend the world premiere of THE RIG at the Everyman cinema in Edinburgh last night. The 6-part sci-fi thriller is set in Scotland and stars Martin Compston (Line of Duty) and Emily Hampshire (Schitt's Creek). In 2021, I visited the set to meet the cast and crew. At the premiere, I caught up with them again to hear their reflections on the shoot and their reactions to watching the completed series. Listen to my report here.

MAY 2022:
Situated in the Scottish Highlands, the Cairngorms National Park is a vast, living, changing landscape, formed not just by the glaciers of the past, but also by the people who live and work in the area. I take you to meet some of those people in a new podcast series called, 'Cairngorms Characters'. Click here to listen.

We didn’t win but we're really pleased that The Big Light and Noisemaker's 8-part drama podcast, 'Atlantic: A Scottish Story', was nominated for Best Fictional Storytelling. Atlantic: A Scottish Story
JUNE 2021:
From January - July 2021, I worked on a musical-drama podcast called Atlantic: A Scottish Story - an 8-part series inspired by the true stories of St Kilda. The podcast is a Big Light/Noisemaker co-production with support from Creative Scotland. I co-produced and co-edited the series.
The series features a soaring original score, traditional Gaelic song and real recordings from St Kilda. The cast includes David Hayman, Blythe Duff, Kate Dickie, Richard Rankin and other talented actors.
